So a while back I did my first skincare post. I have since updated my routine so I now put a bit more effort in keeping my skin as blemish free as possible.
In the morning I’ve started using the Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit face wash (as recommended to me by a friend) I think using this daily has definitely contributed to my skin looking a lot healthier and blemish free. I still get the odd hormonal breakouts on my chin but there’s not much that can keep them at bay! Then I still use La Roche Posay Effcalar Duo before I use my everyday moisturiser followed by a face full of makeup
So when I’m getting ready for bed, I remove all my makeup. I’m still using Bioderma Sensibio because it is amazing. As I said in a previous post, once this is all used up I want to try the L’oreal version to see if it’s just as good! I just pop some onto a cotton pad and wipe over my face. Then I use the No7 soft & gentle cleanser to make sure that my face is entirely makeup free. I put 2/3 pumps into my hand then massage into my face. I let this sink in for a few minutes then wipe off with a clean cotton wool pad. I’m not using a night cream at the moment but if anyone has any recommendations for a reasonably priced one that would be great!
Once a week I still have my pampering evening so I use this to pluck, preen & give my skin a good clean. To start, I remove my makeup then I put on a face mask. I’m loving the Sanctuary Thermal Clay Mask. It’s a thick grey clay mask which I only use on my forehead, nose & chin to unblock the pores. It’s a self-heating mask so when you put it on, it feels all warm & tingly then after 5 to 10 minutes, it cools down & you wash it off. Then I use the botanics all bright scrub. I tend to use this twice a week. It’s quite an abrasive scrub but it definitely gets rid of all the dead skin and makes my skin look bright & smooth. I follow this with the No7 hot cloth cleanser which I’ve spoken about before but I’m still in love with it. I’ve never used something that makes my skin feel so smooth & soft! Once I’m out of the bath, I finish my face with the Clinque Turnaround Overnight Radiance moisturiser just to lock in the moisture & softness.
So that’s my current skincare routines.
